Are you interested in volunteering your time and talent with Homestead Resources? We engage volunteers in the following ways:

Board of Directors

We have a dedicated 15-member volunteer Board of Directors that provides strategic oversight of the organization. If you are interested and have an affinity to support the organization please contact Marie Morse, Executive Director at marie@homestead-resources.org who will provide your resume and qualifications to the Board Governance committee.

Community Loan Center Committee

Serve as an industry expert with experience in lending, business development, and risk analysis to help us grow our business line by providing more access to affordable lending options for clients to avoid predatory lending options.

Special Events and Fundraising Committee

Help plan and coordinate Homestead Resources annual fundraising events including the Annual Luncheon and Trivia Night as well as other community outreach events.

Evil on Erie Haunted House Seasonal volunteer

Get connected to our largest fundraising event of the year and serve as an actor, skilled trade designing props and haunt materials, make-up artist, sound effect technician, parking and ticket attendant, and more.

Office Volunteers

We have project specific volunteers who work with us on an episodic basis or seasonal basis.

Volunteer Skills / Qualifications

An interest in affordable housing and community development.
Alignment with Homestead Resources mission and vision.
Interest in serving families and individuals with low and moderate incomes.
Live or work in the following counties: Benton, Boone, Carroll, Clinton, Fountain, Montgomery, Putnam, Tippecanoe, Warren, White.
